Flat-rolled stainless steels from Coshocton Works include:

  • Austenitic (Chrome Nickel) stainless steel grades are ideal for applications that demand extraordinary strength, durability, and corrosion resistance. These steels are used in appliances, transportation products, food processing equipment, chemical and petrochemical plants, and industrial equipment.
  • Martensitic (Chrome) stainless steel grades contain higher levels of carbon and offer increased hardenability characteristics for specialty applications such as cutlery, scissors, kitchen utensils, and surgical instruments.
  • Ferritic (Chrome) stainless steel grades meet the needs of applications that must withstand extreme heat and corrosive conditions, including automotive and appliance trim, welded tubing, solar panels, and water heaters.
